He believes that learning should be;
Is best achieved in a safe, friendly and controlled environment where good behaviour is the norm. |
Individual and team-based, teaching children to co-operate and work well with others. |
Where winning at all costs is NOT the aim. |
Dave says ' Our matches are about enjoyment, the results are not
important, the use of new techniques and development of
team play are.'
All staff have been C R B checked to an Enhanced Level and are F.A. Level 1 or 2 qualified and are first aid trained.
Sessions are conducted in a safe, well controlled environment.
We make learning
We make sure children are ACTIVE for as much time as possible
We use 3v3 and 4v4 often with no goalkeepers and up to 4 Goals – as
recommended by the Football Associations of
We understand that young children need individual attention and care.
Skilful Soccer uses small groups with an excellent ratio of coaches to children.
We use a ball for each child - children need to practice with a ball at their feet, so right from the warm-up children learn to manipulate and control a football.
