Our weekly sessions last for 1 hour and run through each school term – term time only
SkilfulTots Training
10 - 11am Priory School
These popular sessions teach our little ones how to balance, change direction , jump ,run ,turn and much more. They include agility courses using age appropriate equipment and small balls for their little feet. Our unique mix of fun practices skills and mini matches make this the best introduction to football you'll find anyway.
Costs
The first taster session is FREE and then costs £5 payable weekly.
Alternatively parents can choose to pay for 4 weeks in advance and we reduce the cost to £4.75 per session for this advance payment method .
Concessions
Children who either attend our after school clubs or who attend more than 1 evening or weekend session a week pay £4
Siblings pay £9 for 2 children
The weekly sessions are about having fun with a football. We aim for as many touches of the ball for each child as possible helping them to develop excellent ball control and passing skills. The format is a warm up with a ball each then some skills work and mini matches 3 v 3, 4 v 4 on small pitches usually without goalies using our small pugg goals. This allows lots of touches for each child and develops their skills with guidance from the coaches. Then they play 5/6 v 5/6 on a larger pitch, with the older groups being coached in team play.
Team Squad Training
We are running under 7s,8s teams for the 2011- 2012 season. Training is from 11 - 12 on the all weather pitch on Saturday mornings at Priory School Southsea. In the event of really bad weather it will be in the sportshall.
Match Days
Every few weeks we play friendly matches against local teams . We warm up at 10.30 and finish matches at 12. The cost for these sessions is £5.50.
