Skilful Soccer Schools and football club have been specialising in children’s football coaching including tiny tots in Portsmouth and surrounding areas since 2002.
Our soccer school classes and football club training sessions and games, show our belief that children’s football is for children to enjoy – it’s their game – and our role is to coach and improve each player’s game in a fun way, keeping the right spirit of fair play and enjoyment above the need to win at all costs!!
We cater for children of all abilities from complete beginners to those who have gone on to Portsmouth F.C Academies.Our football club Skilful Soccer Youth F.C.play friendly games every few weeks.Our Portsmouth Area School Holiday Fun Day Courses have provided 1000's of children with safe, enjoyable football and multisports courses
We are the only local football club who take 3/4 year olds. We understand the need to make this first experience a really positive one and nurture and encourage all children regardless of their abilities.
Skilful Soccer is dedicated to giving young children the best introduction to football through:
skills and fun based activities
allowing all abilities especially beginners to learn and enjoy playing at their own level · emphasising lots of touches of the football
lots of small sided 3v3 and 4v4 matches · developing team play · encouraging skilful passing and dribbling play not big kicks up the pitch to win games!
Over the years Skilful Soccer Schools have trained 1000’s of children to learn how to play football in the right way and to be able to join in playground games and move onto play for local teams and Portsmouth.F.C Academy.

We provide After School Football and multisports Clubs at Infant, Primary and Junior schools and evening and Saturday morning sessions at various sports halls and activity centres . We cater for the 3 – 13 age groups and teach soccer skills and football team play from beginners to advanced.
